Palos de la Frontera and La Rábida (36 Km away)
Palos de la Frontera is a charming white village known as “the cradle of the Discovery of America”. 3.5 km from the centre is the monumental complex of “La Rábida”, the heart of columbus route. Here we can take a fascinating journey through the history of the discovery of what was thought to be a new route to India and which in fact turned out to be the American continent. But perhaps what impresses us most is the spring of the caravels, the same one from which Columbus set sail to the new world.
